Career Training

In addition to academic training, Cleveland Job Corps provides career technical training in two major fields. These two major fields (also known as "clusters") are Construction Trades and Allied Health.

Job Corps is committed to the development of green job training. All students who enter in Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive, or Construction career technical training areas will train in a variety of green subject areas. These career areas are marked below with a green tree icon Green trade.

Advanced Career Training

Upon completion of one of the technical training programs offered at Cleveland Job Corps Center, students will be eligible to apply for additional education opportunities through the Advanced Career Training (ACT) Program. The Advanced Career Training Program is made available through our partnership with Cuyahoga Community College. Students in the ACT program are eligible for enrollment up to three years at Job Corps.
